Lisa

One of the first people to greet you and your pet as you walk in to the hospital is likely to be Lisa, our friendly and caring Client Services Representative. Lisa is a Lexington native and has been with BAC since January, 2009. Her favorite part of working at BAC is witnessing “the bond that clients have with their pets.” Lisa is owned by her dogs Owen - a toy poodle, Jose` - a Bichon, and her cats, Clawdeen, Gloria, Gilman, and Havana. She loves reading, watching movies, and listening to good music in her free time. Her passion in life is helping animals find their perfect home.

Hilary

Hilary joined our Brighton family in November 2015, when she and her family moved to Lexington from San Diego, California. Hilary serves as both a Veterinary Technician and Client Service Representative and is a Certified Fear Free Professional. Her favorite part of working at Brighton Animal Clinic is "the compassion for the animals and amazing quality care! What's not to love? I have a great group of coworkers that are fun to work with, and all the pets seem to love coming here!" She lives on her family's horse farm with her two blue-merle Australian Shepherds, Daytona and Chevy, her house kitties - Delilah, Boots, Sweet Pea, and Bradley, and her horse, Harvey. Hilary loves spending her free time with her animals, competing in reining, and helping out around her family's horse farm on her days off.

Marisa, LVT

Marisa joined our Brighton team in 2014 as our head surgery technician and currently serves as Lead Technician. Our own resident "New-Yorker" and Licensed Veterinary Technician, Marisa provides professional and compassionate care for our feline and canine patients during emergency treatment, hospitalization, surgical, and dental procedures. Marisa is owned by her "terrier-whippet thing" George, and her three cats, Josie, Gunner, and Jordy.

Anne

Have a question about your puppy’s behavior? – Ask Anne, our resident puppy manners expert! Anne began working at BAC as a Veterinary Technician in November 2011 and has helped cultivate a unique canine behavior program at BAC. Anne is one of the founding instructors for our popular series of puppy socialization courses and is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Certified Evaluator and a Certified Fear Free Professional. She loves working with her coworkers and enjoys the chance to help build a strong foundation between puppies and their owners. Anne enjoys showing and training dogs, playing her steel drums, cheering on the Wildcats, and boating in her time off.

Likewise, she gets great enjoyment from "building relationships with our pet families and working in the wonderful Brighton environment." Lauren comes from a useful background in emergency veterinary medicine and has worked previously as a certified medical coder. Her passions outside of work include amateur baking and loving on her fur-kids - Lylah and Benson (her pitties), and kitties - Mallory, Savannah, Sarah, Chicken-Mini, as well as her horses Amber and Leroy.

When Courtney is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her own Siamese kitty, Marth, Harvey the Domestic Shorthair, and her fluffy dog named Oscar, as well as hiking, reading, playing video games, and horseback riding. Her favorite thing about working at Brighton is the time we take with our patients to make their visit as positive as possible.
